Special Session on the Barrens

While the situation is still in flux, it is clear that the recent events in the Barrens will have a seismic effect on Imperial foreign policy going forwards. We feel that it would be deeply inappropriate to ignore these at a retreat specifically set up to discuss such matters. As such we will be hosting a broad discussion on Imperial policy regarding the native septs of the Barrens, aiming to put current events in their proper context. We will be inviting anyone in the audience who has specific first-hand knowledge of this matter to offer their perspective.
We recognise that this is an emotive subject and very fresh in people’s minds. It would be deeply inappropriate to deny the deep personal and emotional significance of these events to many citizens. However, we will remind people that personal attacks against your ideological rivals will not change what is happening and are unlikely to change anyone’s minds.
