Diplomacy With Our Enemies
SÅ‚awomir Rabovich Bolotstrazh, Raine Tealeaf, Kindra Surefoot
The Empire has, at one point or another, been at war with almost every nation with whom we share a border, and many nations with whom we do not. Sometimes these wars are largely symbolic, sometimes they lead to armies clashing in the field. But every war has one thing in common: unless it ends with the total extermination of one side or the other, it always ends with diplomacy.
Pridd Seedsower will facilitate a panel discussion between three citizens with direct first-hand experience at negotiating with people who have been frequent enemies to the Empire. Through a series of questions posed by the moderator and by the audience, we hope to explore how, why, and when it is best to enter into dialogue with your enemies, how to communicate effectively in times of open war, and how to maintain peace when actors on both sides wish for further bloodshed.
