Regaining Trust
Many of our neighbours feel that they can no longer trust the Empire after a decade of somewhat chaotic rule. Following broken treaties, in both letter and spirit, and violent actions from Imperial citizens, our neighbours are rightfully worried that the Empire will continue to act as a tyrant on their borders.
The path to Regaining Trust is a slow one, and it starts with weakness. This is a hard truth.
This talk is to begin by laying out exactly what weakness can mean, why we should not fear it, and how vital trust is to furthering the Way.
The group will then move to specific discussions about Druj Subject Septs and the Jotun as potential studies for this theory, and invite other discussions about diplomacy within the Empire as well as with other foreign powers.
There will be chances throughout to get clarification if any points seem overly arcane or ill-phrased, and room at the end to disagree entirely for the unconvinced.
