Raine Tealeaf (they/them)

Arbiter Raine Tealeaf is a draughir of Spiral, political poet, and the so-called ‘Urizeni Grendel Expert’. Held as a slave by the Grendel for ten years (368YE-378YE), they have dedicated much of their life since freedom to either warfare or diplomacy with the orcs of Attar – with a particular focus on an intimate understanding of Grendel culture, mindset, and manner. Having been directly involved in Grendel diplomacy for three years, they have served as a member of various ambassadorial teams for eight seasons, proxy for three, and acting-ambassador for one. To avoid what Raine considers to be avoidable errors that have cost the Empire at least one war, they look to propagate a wider understanding of that nation in-general, and its cultural-diplomatic intersections in-specific.
