Telyn is usually a Guide of Vigilance in the Stormtree steading in Therunin but she can smell change in the air, now that her young citizen has flown the nest. She has recently taken up arms again, joining the Vines and incorporating the healing arts she honed in Peakedge Stead, and casts her eye to the wider Empire - what is her place in all this? Navarr’s place in the next phase of their war? The Empire’s place in the world?
