The National Forest is a charitable effort to convert 200 square miles of the Midlands heavy industry legacy into a natural landscape accessible to city-dwellers and encouraging sustainable living. More information can be found at the National Forest website.

YHA National Forest is a modern, eco-friendly accessible youth hostel run in this ethos. It has 63 beds and can sleep maximum 74 people (11 beds are double beds). We will be allocating everyone their own bed and selling 63 sleepover and 11 day tickets.

Getting Here

The nearest train station is Burton-on-Trent. From there you can catch the 21 bus from New Street bay 7 to the Mount Pleasant stop, which is a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk to YHA National Forest. We will be doing pickups from this stop, and probably also some from the station.

YHA National Forest has a large amount of free parking on-site.
